Art Ed. Weekly Reading Reviews (10 reviews @ 20 points each = 200 points total)
Each of your weekly reading reviews will consist of three segments: 1. First you will need to summarize the major points of the weekly readings – label this first section, “Summary.”This should be 2-3 paragraphs in length. 2.Second you will need to relate the readings to class discussions/lectures – label this section “Class Connections.” This should be 1-2 paragraphs in length. 3. Third you will need to include your own personal realizations about your role as a teacher, the students and education in general as they relate to the readings – label this section “Realizations.” This should be paragraph. Your reflection will be reviewed for the following: ×Identification and understanding of the main points of the readings. ×Identification and understanding of the sub-points of the readings. ×Evidence of reflective and critical thinking about the points addressed. × Evidence of clear and concise writing as well as appropriate grammar/spelling.
Guidelines
Your reviews should be typed in Times 10-point font. These should be as close to 1 page as possible. There are a total of 10 reflections (see course schedule for due dates).
